From today, Monday the 30th of July 2007 we are the proud owners of the domain name www.hotelromeo.net

David originally wanted to get hotelromeo.com but this was already registered.... by a hotel!!!  so David opted for .net,  It is hoped that this website will be an online reflection of our club and will be used from time to time by the Hotel Romeo members and anybody else wishing to know a little more about our club and its members.   73's

Amateur Radio Training

Theory classes are ongoing in Crossakiel for those wanting to get a foot in the door of this fascinating hobby.    modules covered will be basic electronics  and operating procedures,  all the important aspects of the hobby will be covered with a view to obtaining a licence.  Those wishing to take part in the classes or to find out further details should contact Alan at Crossakiel.com    for more details.

We recently held a Fox Hunt..... and before any animal rights activists start raering up, relax... it was a fun event with David as the fox.

David hid in a remote location and with the aid of some direction finding experience and only David's cryptic clues as our guide managed to "eventually" locate the fox.  Well actually it was Vivian and Paddy who ousted the fox afterwhich we all met up in the local pub in Canningstown for a lemonade and chicken & chips which David had organised.

We all had a great day and are allready looking forward to the next Fox Hunt.
